No worries mate, your base is still in good order Smile
Pity the guys just keep raiding the tradeposts for all the ammo and leave nothing for the next guy Sad

In true survival spirit, I only take what I need at that time, not what might be useful some day and with that regard I may have been guilty of raiding all of a certain ammo type from a tradebox. Would you consider taking 45 rounds when you're all out as excessive behaviour? And does it matter how long I can last with these?

I always try to travel light, because when I die it might all be gone. And if I have plenty (eg. 90 rounds per assault riffle) I leave it in a box for the community. Not the empty clips, or other common items (eg. camo jacks or common guides I see all the time), but actual bullets, rare guides and situational stuff (where is a car battery when you need one!).

I also learned from a very wise Git to use 2 different riffles (that use different ammo) and leave the emptiest one at your base when going out for a hunt. You save/top ammo on that one, while using the other and you'll last longer on your own that way. Also try use a knife for a change to take on a single mutant to save bullets.

All seems simple and common sense, but all we are used to in this modern society; is to consume.
I will remember that next time I visit a trade box.

Thanks Sjaak, But no worries Smile you are more than welcome to take.
Always just place what you dont need and you think the next guy may need at the posts.

Even though I am well established, if there is something I need I take.
What I was refering to though was that there are some players that strip the boxes from ALL ammo regardless.. From magazines and from the guns themselves - just leaving the empty guns and magazines in the crate.
This in turn does not allow new players/fresh spawns to get something to defend themselves and that is the selfishness I refer to.
